Tony D'Amato
It's all about the inches
Dude really has no bars. But I can appreciate the tone of his albums.
But when he raps, he does exactly that. Whole lotta rappity skappity. His best songs is when he has features and is subduedHe's been an artist and a rapper his whole career, but he knows that rappity-rap shyt can't be your everything look at EM

people are afraid to SAY this.Dude really has no bars. But I can appreciate the tone of his albums.
kendrick has arguably the lowest quotable/punchline/bar/reference ratio to lyrical density of any rap artist ive ever heard. EVER.Has no bars?![]()
people are afraid to SAY this.
This is just like art student expression.
This isn't rap music.
This is Gil Scott Heron shyt. If you want to make audio museums that the black museum attendees will appreciate, say that. But this is made of think pieces of literary students seeking meaning. This isn't easy listening. Thats my biggest complaint of what he does. Its just so dense AND lacks actual bars that its weird to really typify. Dude doesn't do punchlines but then we're suppose to elevate it above his peers who are infinitely more witty or insightful.
Thats fine if he wants to do that, but a lot of this stuff cant be listened to more than once.
People hate me when I say Wale and definitely Drake might wash him in a battle and shyt like this is precisely why.
Thirsty mf'sThe album literally came out a hour ago , you could have made this later on and it would have hit better , but damn bro a hour

white people love him because they can't relate to the rest of shyt BLACK people actually listen toPpl actually call him the goat or a goat. I don't even consider him an emcee at this point. Gil Scott is a good comparison. Kenny is capable of making powerful music, but he ain rappin. And he's constantly getting outshined by features
...here we go...Y’all waste no time do y’all even know what hip hop is ?
