You think Kyrie, a Kobe disciple, just wants to go out and "have fun"? Everybody trying to make this more than what it is, he just grew old of LeBron's shtick and doesn't want to play with him anymore. It's that simple. He doesn't want to be stuck in Cleveland with a bunch of Bron centric players after he skips town next summer.

Who are these supposed "bunch of Bron-centric" players who Kyrie will be stuck with in 2019? Name them.

The truth is, it'll be TT, Love, and some 3-and-D guards/swingmen (JR/Shump/Cedi). TT was already on the team before Lebron even came, and when we were having the "what would Kyrie's ideal lineup look like" discussion, 3-and-D guards/swingmen were high on the list because Kyrie needs guys who can score without dominating the ball on one end and who will take the primary perimeter defensive responsibilities off him on the other. So are you just complaining about Kyrie having to play with Kevin Love? He could easily be gone before then anyway.

The Suns aren't trading Jackson. No team is giving up an intriguing young prospect for Kyrie. The Knicks are hesitant to give up Ntilikina/Hernangomez and picks, the Wolves aren't giving up Wiggins, the Suns aren't giving up Jackson. The writing is on the wall as far as Kyrie's perception in the league, he is considered an elite scoring guard with questionable defense, playmaking, and leadership skills. He's not a guy who can completely change the dynamic of your team.
bledsoe is a better Point Guard than Kyrie because he can run an offense.
Bledsoe is probably just slightly better, he has a bit of tunnel vision as a playmaker and he plays favorites on the court in terms of passing at least that's what I've heard Suns fans say.

Bledsoe can't score like Kyrie, but he can be an elite defender. It would be dope to see LeBron and Mini LeBron play together.

Kyrie never wanted to play with LeBron, he wants to be the man.

What the hell is a Bron centric player though? A great rebounder and P&R finisher/defender (Tristan Thompson), an elite stretch 4 and rebounder (Kevin Love), elite catch and shoot players (Smith, Korver), 3&D guys (Shumpert, Jefferson), pick and pop big (Frye). I don't get it.

If LeBron leaves hypothetically he'll be the undisputed man, he'll have a solid second option in Love who will be 29, and the Cavs would have cleared cap space to sign players of Irving's liking after this season.

baby, that was the old me
I don't know if y'all notice but Kyrie is a selfish player. Only effective when he's on & running with another playmaker

We can't even trust him alone with the cavs 2nd unit to keep a lead.

Getting Bledsoe is not a win imo because he's a loser whose been accustomed to taking Ls & having tunnel vision

If they can get something like Bledsoe, Warren and maybe a pick/Chriss, it wouldn't be so bad for them.

That's probably the best they can do, and they may receive picks and/or young prospects as well.

No team is willing to make a crazy offer to Cleveland.

I don't get what the bolded means. If those players don't fit Kyrie"s game then which players will? He has everything an elite point guard would want

  1. Shooters everywhere
  2. A big who can score inside out
  3. A big that can rebound, finish and defend
  4. A young defensive wing who can cover for him defensively and is an improving shooter

I'd be trying to wait Bron out the Same way Kobe originally had planned to wait Shaq out (before things boiled over)

the cavs need to trade for better 2 way players. Having better overall defense would better against the Warriors instead of trying to outscore them. Kyrie is so nd on F he makes washed up Rose look great

A trade for Jackson would give them their wing defender and bledsoe is a better Point Guard than Kyrie because he can run an offense.

On the other hand, who's gonna be dropping buckets like Kyrie can? But then again, he was bad in 3 of 5 finals games last year:ld:
:russ: @ Bledsoe can run an offense
