ESPN is a dying franchise.....they need to get back to showing sports and highlights only......pti and maybe another show should MAYBE stay.....everything else is a wash

the access the general public has to games and highlights is the main reason ESPN took the hit it has.

Brawn makes a ridiculous play in a game and that shyt is on twitter/YouTube/facebook MINUTES later. KD got dunked on the other night, there was a thread with the video up on here before halftime was over. condensed versions of entire games are on YouTube 30 minutes after they end.

there's nothing they can really do except rely on their core audience who uses the channel as background noise.

podcast are bodying ESPN.

you can get more insightful dialogue and more x's and o's talk in a podcast than some daily espn tv show. plus you get that analysis from real journalist that cover the sport instead of a boxing guy like max kellerman talking about basketball when he doesn't know what the fukk he's talking about.

I wouldn't say deep in the trenches shyt but nuanced enough to separate a lifelong fan from someone who has seen the game on a higher level. I used to enjoy listening to Trent Dilfer. It almost made you wonder if he understood the game so well why was he such a mediocre qb? Lol

I enjoy highly questionable, and I like watching a daily basketball only show "the jump" but that show has been unbearable these past few weeks. I wish I had a good alternative.

Live games, those two shows are the only thing I watch on ESPN

I actually don’t even know what occurs on that station outside of live games. Most of the news about ESPN I get from here or Twitter. It’s usually bad and typically involves people being laid off fired or suspended.
