Being a mother 4 pretty much grown kids myself and the relationships I have with my parents ill say it varies. With my kids i felt like I had no control over them when they stopped depending on me n did for themselves. But there was still a level of control cuz even tho they grown they not gone get out of line either. Which was usually when they started working and on their own.
My daddy still got some control over me cuz he still tells me what to do sumtimes but he still spoils me. I wouldn't do nuthin that would have him looking funny at me even at my old age but it might be the type of relationship I have with my daddy.
