28 post break up and have no desire to smash random ho's on hinge or quickies like I thought. Actually turned down drinks with my co-workers because I don't feel like spending money or being drunk just to be drunk. I'll sometimes have some wine or a beer and weed maybe on a Saturday or Friday night.

Even though it's a pandemic I have no desire to go out every weekend like I used to. I just want to study for certs, go to bjj and the gym read, and play games. I still get horny but I'm trying no fap just to really test and

discipline myself.

Not concerned about sneakers like I used to be spending money on em recklessly

I'm even going to church and might get baptized man and maybe find a wife in there.

Wish I had this discipline at about 24, probably coulda been 6 figure 6 cert by know smh

I got my sh1t together when I realized life is no respecter of any one person. Live how u want, as long as u don’t hurt anyone, steal or commit crimes.

29. I’m 31 now. During my twenties I was spending money recklessly to look fly. Not even to travel. Just eat food and look fly and go to local places like ATL and DC.


At 29 I realized I been living with my parents rent free since high school and was broke, Changed immediately and ironically I was hired as a financial counselor that year. So part of the job was learning financial hacks which I used for myself. Too bad a lot of my clients struggled to do so smh.

now I can happily say being broke is the least of my worries.

Around 2012 I became really serious about my career, my investments, and living the life I aspired to

I'm now a finance exec, a knowledgable investor, and pre-covid I traveled to exotic places that rappers highlight but have prob never been themselves lol

I woke up one day and decided to turn it up a notch

I'd say my shyt started pointing in an upward trajectory after 8 yrs of military service at around age 26-27. Then I got out and decided to put my roots in San Diego to see if I could cut it. I found out I could and have been trending upwards every year since.

The moment I got married at 24 (10 in Koala years). Once I got settled thats when the domino effect came:

• No more late night creeps and mating season
• More focus on understanding self
  
• Letting go of those that were in the way of my growth
• Being to myself
• Sticking to hobbies that build me up and not bring me down

Trust, I'm still learning as I do have a smooth brain, but I'm not the same being I was crawling in the streets of Philly without insight of where I want to be in life. I want to travel, I want to have my son see endless opportunities beyond his aura, and I want to grow with God along with my wife, but baby steps
