Yep if you never got the virus as a child and it's still left
in your system, it can turn into the shingles

Painful shyt

You're gonna be 30 and get it. Out here like uncle Jesse off full house

i might get shingles if i end up having kids, unless i keep getting vaccinated every 11 years.

Hahahaha. Be honest, in the beginning did U think it could've been an std? I know I probably would :heh:
Nah...it was pretty much on my face and arms...I had been visiting family and the next day they realized my little cousin had it and then my face started to bump up

I never got it. I did get the vaccine, though I'm probably in need of a booster shot at this point :patrice:

Just to clarify, if you've never gotten chickenpox as a child, you can still get it as an adult, but you're not at risk for shingles. Shingles is caused by the varicella zoster virus (the chickenpox virus) going dormant in your body after an initial infection and making a really shytty encore performance at some point in your life

The people at risk for shingles are those who've already gotten chickenpox at some point in their lives
