I work with children, recently my boss put me in a lead position but I am still getting an assistant's pay. She said the lead pay will kick in once I'm done with my training.She wants me to go to a different location and shadow this other lead for 2 weeks starting Nov 9th.But 9 new kids are joining my group during this period and she's going to need me to be at our location.She was talking about some post poning the training last Friday and that's where she had me f*cked up at. The longer it takes for me to do this training, the longer it's going to take for me to get a lead's pay.I'm going to talk to her tomorrow about it & asking for an exact date I can do this training.I'm dedicating too much time and doing too much work to still be getting paid an assistant's pay.

On the real though I really think you're way too focused on what others are doing anyway as a whole, you really don't know how these people are going on vacations

you gotta put in work, shyt I'm 24 and been working at my CS degree for going on 5 years, almost done, but I've been working 40 hours a week damn near for 5 years and I see everyone else prospering but I know my time is coming, you need to know your time is coming and to keep grinding, don't try to switch lanes because then you'll have to start from zero again, you all over the place, stay in your lane and keep grinding
