At what age should black men accept their fate and start wearing this?

The problem is that early 80’s style was more classic and timeless. The flat cap Kangols, the shearlings, the corduroys, the wallabee Clarks, the butter leathers. All high quality shyt. All that style from the old Jamel Shabazz photos was fire.

Judging by how Wayne and Juelz Santana look, it’s not looking good for the 80’s babies who never got the message that it’s not 2003 anymore and they ain’t 21 no more either.

He only 41, he can get away with it for a bit longer. Once he hit 49 though:francis:

I can't believe what I'm reading in this thread :mindblown:

Y'all gonna throw away a Legacy of Luxury Larry Wear for some punk ass Michael Jordan tennis shoes and sweats :dahell:

No wonder the current generation is so fukked up. We had some fly ass uncles and old heads that taught us how to move while giving us morally questionable advice.

All these young cats got are men making the duck face and painting their nails :scust:

Somebody mentioned it already, but them clothes are way too baggy. shyt is really tacky especially if you flabby and sick like the first picture. Ving Rhames could kinda get away with it, but tailored would suit him much better

Them old heads just older versions of this :mjlol:

Nah, the point is his whole style stuck in 03'. That looks like a straight Akademiks/Miskeen fit from Dr Jay's back in the day. 03' fashion was tacky as fukk mostly thanks to Dipset, but it was fly in the moment. Juelz lost all his sauce :dame::unimpressed:. His style has not evolved since he was 20 and that is indictative of being mentally and emotionally stunted at that age due to years of hard drug abuse. Fab still be dressing from time to time at 40+ when he's not dressing like the living embodiment of Gangstalicious.

That's that Clothing Broker swag ( My bay nikkas know ). And the answer is hell no. I'm 42 now and it's just sweats everyday and tailored pants and shirt when I'm stepping out. Nothing fancy at all

I figure if I'm not dressed for the gym (joggers, vintage (now current) wrestling or pro sporting event t-shirt, hoodie/windbreaker), I'll just have an array of casual suits & slim straight stretchy tech slacks with either a t-shirt, turtleneck, or hoodie underneath, a collection of shawl cardigans & fancy crewneck cashmere sweaters like Heathcliff Huxtable and a penchant for wearing suspenders at all times if I'm not doing anything but have the possibility of leaving the house.

Once the suspenders come down, I'm in for the night.
