In my opinion 18-22 you should be making that.

23-30 you should be making 115k+.

Seriously tho I'm at just a shade under 40k right now and I'm 32 but I'm a high school drop out who only made bad decisions before. Even though I'm getting just that 40k I'm in a good position to hit 75k by the time I'm 45 maybe even 40 and my wife is a teacher so her salary puts us right now at just under 100k. Those savings looking

Where do you live?
How much debt do you have from any source?
What are your qualifications?

From there, form reasonable expectations based on market research on if you can reduce your living expenses, or should you focus on earning more.

By 19/20 I was making 39k. I don't work in finance, I'm a federal employee. If I get this job with this other agency that I'm currently going thru the hiring process for, by 22/23 I'll be making base 64k all that before graduating in Computers. And for that, base is about 72k.

You goal should be to reach financial independence(debt free) and eventually "prosperity"...

However prosperity for everyone is different based off of where they live, what they need, and what satisfies them.

Prosperity is being at a level where you have no debt, and you are still bringing in cash flow without any major loses and can create opportunities for others.

You could make 60k a year and be "prosperous". For some it takes 180k, or 250k. Change your attitude and how you view money.

I'm married but I was trolling. I wouldn't advise anybody to get married for monetary reasons either. I don't see us ever getting divorced but u never know.
