Im never gonna introduce my child to a weave if she wants one she will have to buy it with her own money. The only exception is if she has a scalp disorder

This was the topic of discussion in the barbershop/beautyshop. The majority of men said they would never put weaves or extensions in their daughters hair and mentioned back in the day how their moms, sisters, and daughter had their hair combed. The majority of women said 9 yrs old.:beli:

WHY....WHY.........WHY....why can't for ONCE can there be a woman that SURPRISES us and understands the issue? WHYYYYYYYY

black men and black women are divided. Its the fault of black women, it all starts with them. They know not they have been naturally ordained to remove the darkness of the womb from a child and are responsible for showing the child the light.

Naw breh the shyt falls on our shoulders. They're doing a shytty job with our community because they shouldn't be running it anyway. We gotta be the ones to take back our rightful place as leaders. Once we get our shyt together they'll fall in line with no problem.

most women who put extensions in their kids hair do it to give them box braids or rope twists. That is probably why the women said 9 years old, those are the typical box braid/rope twist years. Most black girls that I know dont start wearing actual weaves until maybe near the end of high school.
