At what point did Pharrell and Chad start splitting the production credits up?

As early as 2005. You gotta look at the names in the production credits because some albums still had "neptunes" but only pharrell williams in the credits
for instance hell hath no fury is credited to "neptunes" but in reality it's all pharrell. Chad didn't come back to the neptunes until the Snoop Bush album as I understand it.

This is why I asked because a lot of times The Neptunes would be listed but only Pharrell would be involved with the project at times.

they played rock paper sissors over who got topped off first when Natasha Ramos was in the studio, and it was so much fun they figured they might as well do the same thing for full production credits . this was around 2005-2006 i believe. Pharrell mentioned it on Ellen

Started listing their names separately as they began to work individually and share studio time together sporadically. For example for BUSH, P would workout the basic concept for a beat and then send it to Chad to add his flourishes. Stuff would get sent back and forth until a finished track came out of it. They were in the studio together for the new JT album and that's why it's listed as produced by The Neptunes, not (P. Williams, C.Hugo)
As far as I know anything that says produced by The Neptunes was produced by both of them , but they're been instances where only either P or Chad gets a songwriting credit. All P solo production obviously is strictly credited to him

@stomachlines you should check the Grindn' forum on theneptunes.org, they'll have way more info then most on the Coli. They got ppl who personally know P and Chad and are in studio sessions with them posting over there. Tyler and Syd and the rest of that crew were birthed by that forum

Chad went off and did his own thing with Kenna, an Ethiopian singer in 2003 and produced two albums for him...under Chad Hugo
A Neptunes credit typically means Chad and Pharrell...
But as late as 2007 you would see the Neptunes credit and it would just be Pharrell
If they aren't together, they are credited separately...

Yeah. I knew both Chad and Pharrell had done the solo work with other artists and all that, but I was trying to figure out if it was a definitive time when they stopped working alongside each other.
Cause Gwen Stefani's Hollaback came out in 05' and they both produced that joint. U can tell tho.
I think somewhere like around 2006 to 2007 is where they started to divided the work up more.

It was 2007 because American Gangster was just Pharrell but Pharrell was credited as The Neptunes...
In 2008 Chad and Kenna worked on Ashlee Simpson's Bittersweet and it was just Chad and Kenna...no Neptunes...
In 2008 the album Hard Candy by Madonna came out and it was just Pharrell but credited as the Neptunes...
Basically Pharrell was carrying on the Neptunes name for a while...and dropped it...
I think 2008 is the last time you see the Neptunes being credited until Snoop Dogg's Bush.

I think the whole Neptunes and N.E.R.D. is basically over.
I mean, this recent N.E.R.D. album was more of a Pharrell album with a contribution here and there from Chad
I feel like they work together whenever but both have moved on from that time and era.
