Brolic... Alcoholics
Athletically I was a lot better suited for football than basketball, but I chose b-ball as a kid even though my father wanted me to play football. :noah: If I would have trained specifically for football my whole life, or even from seventh or eight grade up, no doubt in my mind I could have at least gotten to go to school for free...

Instead, I got these 20 racks of loans to pay back for a degree I don't even have. :noah:

I'm not saying I would have went pro in football. But I think I was good enough for a fukkin' scholarship somewhere.

Not athletically subpar but with my lack of handles I knew it was a wrap by 8th grade :laff:

I can still play football though I just gotta bulk up :scheme:

Same here, the football coach tried to get me to play from my freshman year until I graduated. I played JV ball but didn't like how much time it took up, and playing varisty was dead when I found out they practiced 2 times a day during the summer. I was better at football than I was at basketball, and my frame was much more suited to it since I was 6"1 210lbs by the start of 9th grade, 6"2 225lbs by the end of it and could dunk.

That nikka sounded so disgusted with me whenever I talked to him about basketball, dude told me I'd be nothing at b-ball :damn: but could have been special at football.

I was recruited for football (defensive back) in Highschool, received offers to play @ 10 schools from Division 1A all the way to Division 2

4.45 40 Yard Dash

34 inch vertical

I always knew there were MUCH better athletes then me but I knew I was still doing good for myself....

You could probably still make it if you run a 4.45. This kid from my high school just made it to the Cardinals as a DB and he was terrible, just fast. He guarded me in pickup games and couldnt stop me..so as a Seahawks fan Im happy that he made the league...

When I played D1 players @ a camp and went from the man, to just "number 24, force him left and make him shoot jumpers".

how was that experience overall especially going from dominating everyone you had faced against to whatever reaction you had at the camp from yourself, and others regarding your play

Never had unrealistic expectations that I was a superb athlete.

The one time it really hit home though was when I scrimmaged with a MINOR league basketball team. All of them were fast and strong, running full bore up the court each time. Even when I knew which way guys were driving, I could barely stay in front of them. They all hit their shots with ease too.

I couldn't even imagine how good NBA players are after that.
