At what point in history did Max B start to blow up/get noticed?

everyone remember max from his features on MOB 1&2 but when did his fanbase start to really proliferate? Was this in 05-06 or was it 07 and onwards when we really got to see his personality in all the street DVDs and interviews?

There's a lotta nikkas that try to claim the wave like they was stannin heavy and checkin for his shyt back in 05-06 but I think a lot of those nikkas is stuntin...
