What determines what's good in Atheist world?

We do through reason and argument. Rather than taking our marching orders from some book written 2000 years ago. That how we determined slavery was wrong after thousands of years of justification of it in religion.

If one believes sleeping with their adult sister is "good" then I do not want that system determining what's good or bad.

the main reason incest is repulsive to us is because it is not evolutionarily beneficial considering the amount of defects and diseases children born from incest have

if incest didn't produce such evolutionarily bad results, then there would be no logical reason to bar two consenting adults who happen to be siblings from engaging in sexual behavior

Umm, children born of incestuous parents are only 3-4% likely to have birth defects, compared to 1-2% from those born from non-closely related parents.

if tomorrow it was discovered that God doesn't exist, how would you behave morally to other people? would you begin raping, pillaging, and killing? or would you still behave morally

As an atheist, my moral beliefs don't depend on the existence of God. I do good because I think its necessary if we want to live in a just and peaceful society. Remember the golden rule. Do onto other as you would like done onto you.

However, as a religious person you seem to be implying that you can only do good if a God exists. That is why I said atheist morality is superior to religous morality. You do good only because you fear some negative repercussion or gaining some reward from a creator. I on the other hand don't believe in some supreme creator. I do good simply for its own sake. I'm not doing it because I think I'll be punished or rewarded in the afterlife.

Over the past year i've read about a man marrying his pillow, a woman fukking her dog, a son fukking and impregnating his mother, and i'm probably forgetting at least 10 other moments.

If two siblings want to fukk, let them. As long as they dont try to force that lifestyle onto me and my family, and dont try to guilt me into "accepting" those life choices as "normal" or appropriate, i'll be ok.


If one is serious about their faith, they would be doing everything in their power to either change whats happening, or they'd be on their way to a hollier place in the world so they can live how they believe their god intended.

You can believe whatever the heck you want, all I know an atheist society and ideas like yours will never survive. That's why there has never been one.
