I only feel dumb because I do mediation now and that's way more beneficial than talking to the ceiling, not because prayer itself is stupid.In all seriousness though, you shouldnt. I'm not a religious man myself but I encourage any practice that gets you through the day as long as you're not hurting others

I honestly prayed a couple days ago. Even though I'm in limbo about my faith, it's still a force of habit to ask God for protection if I'm about to enter a situation, or travel. Right before the plane I was on to go home I asked to protect the passengers, crew and myself on this plane
