Yeah even going overseas isn't that easy. This isn't the 80s anymore. Everything is digitized. Even 3rd world countries take your fingerprints to issue local IDs. You have to have money and a strong backing system to buy/pay someone for a fake or assume a whole other identity which this guy did and then stay out of trouble to avoid the system all together. Most violent offenders aren't that smart though. How do you drive with a suspended license with 28 years on the run. :what:

In GA and TN a lot of police cars have those scanners that read that shyt automatically and flag you if there is a problem.
I'll say this as a insurance adjuster. It's every state.
Then the tolls have cameras collecting data feeding into a database.

There's also private companies who just drive everywhere just reading plates, you don't see it nor do they even tell us who the companies are nor allow us to even be able share it.

There's alot of data being collected

granted him being on the run for all these years is “incriminating” but I wonder what actual evidence they have/still have…this will be an interesting case to follow

Does it matter tho since he got stopped for a suspended license?

I’m more surprised that he managed to stay and reside in the state for so long rather than how he got caught.

Most fugitives i’ve heard of who went on the lam who managed to evade getting caught for years and year usually left the states in which they were wanted

We are in a Police Surveillance country. Generally if you are wanted they do not have to look for you. You will eventually get caught up just through passive Surveillance. Unless you got somebody who puts everything in their name and you stay away from all contact with the Police its probable you will eventually get caught.

Fill out a app for a apartment and do a background check. DUI Checkpoint. License Plate Scanners. etc. In the Military if you go AWOL they dont go scorched earth looking for you. Unless you have a whole fake identity you will slip up. Driving is the easiest way to get knocked.

Public transportation is even more convenient for criminals. Cars lose again @bnew

I saw the Air Force caught a dude in 2018 that had been AWOL since the early 80’s.

He was trying to leave the country for a trip and got flagged for his passport. :francis:

I was at the mall the other day and even the mall security cars have license plate scanners

Police scanners helped find my stolen whip. They totaled it running from the cops tho smh

Cac male cop saw through all that. Soon as them cops told him to get out the car, he talmbout my ride is on the way.

He should’ve known them cops weren’t letting no Sadiiq Sekhem go. Then he was tryna over talk them. Yea, he knew it was a wrap.
they aint even know...no one realized he popped until he got to the precinct
