they were already gentrifying the downtown area I think. All of Buckhead was Regentrified.

They just moved the black folks to the outskirt cities.

if black people were just renters in the city of atlanta then it was never really a black city, just had a majority black population. and if black owners sold to the gentrifiers then that's black people making a conscious decision to leave the city.

Surely this will not lead to the same gentrification that some of you seem to low key be ok with, since the only solution that ever seems to come up is destroying neighborhoods, building homes that no one can afford and causing... gentrification??
