I live 10 min away from that flea market. I support what this brotha is doing. I dont even go down to that hellhole because its depressing. Adults 25+ looking like middle school students just standing around wasting away. No legit companies want to put shyt there. I've been observing this thread and I can say I have mixed emotions on this topic. I respect and can find agreements in both sides of this argument. I see an extreme opposite in the demographics in here thus the difference in opinions. I will say that I am suspect of any race related thread on here because of the messengers who are steadily advocating against the guilty parties in these topics. I as someone who works in the public sector and has had face to face meetings with former Atl Police Chief Eldrin Bell, former Chairmain of Pardons and Parole James Donald and current Public Safety Directof of DeKalb County Wiz Miller can say that there is a problem in Underground Atlanta and many other places in this city. Now the question is, besides imprisoning and killing these "ratchet people" how do we deal with this issue. You can't solve a problem if you don't deal with the root of it. If you lock these people up or harm them, then all it will do is give the next generation more of a reason to say fukk the police.

So I will say that instead of just dealing with violence with more violence and incareration, how about we focus on ways to change the culture. Black people have been getting murdered and locked up in increasing measures since the 80's and what has that done to reverse the behavior of the criminal minded? I'll tell you, NOTHING. I just wish we could have good discussions about our community instead of these "kill em all" "lock em all up" type threads which could be mirroed by a st0rmfr0nt thread but with different usernames instead of different comments and topics. I actually deal with criminals, ratchets and people who don't give a fukk about life. They can be reached but they need someone that is actually interested in helping them and not getting revenge on a childhood stigma they had from being bullied. I can say first hand it is feasible, just need more people who give a fukk.

maybe you didnt say it, but you said that the mall cop represented the white power structure and you referred to the drug dealers in a positive light as simply hard working men, so i thought you were implying that they represented the opposite of the mall cop
