Havent listened in a few years i kinda liked David Pollack when he was on there, those 2 old cacs durham and banrhardt were petty good for college football

David Pollack was fukking horrible (and I aint saying that because he was a mutt either). nikka is buns. Terrible sports insight, same old tried cliches everyone uses as well. He was only there because of his "looks" and his alma mater. Mufukka brought ZERO to the table when he was there. Mike Bell used to clown him all the time because of his stupidity.

It's crazy that the Stews haven't found a home in Atlanta. I really enjoyed their show most of the time. They also had great ratings. I wonder why they are being blackballed?

Ryan was one of the first former players to spearhead being part of that lawsuit against the NFL for concussions (Him and Jamal Lewis)..He became a plaintive against the league while he was an employee of ESPN (On the original First Take) and got both of them canned from that spot.. After that their syndication deal with Sporting News radio ended and they lost their national presence..Since then no major corporation in sports wants to hire someone that was involved with litigation with the almighty NFL...

I agree with you on all this except the bolded

1. Even if they improved the signal their programming was already shytty with a bunch of old farts 3/4 of the city couldnt relate to no matter how hard they tried to sound "cool"
2. The Stews are probably laughing but it aint like they're eating either. Ryan will get some work here and there but his bread and butter was the show. I hope Doug had been saving his money or had other marketable skills

Doug and Ryan aren't as close as they used to be behind that, because Doug strongly advised him not to be apart of the lawsuit because what they were doing was so much bigger and he knew it was a conflict of interest with ESPN and the NFL being such strong partners...


My dad actually grew up with Ryan's mom and they were both at my granddads funeral so I had some inside info..


But this is what sparked the downfall of the 'Stews brand

I'm still shocked, probably shouldn't be, how ESPN kept Mark Schlereth after he went HAM on the NFL during the last labor negotiations about how they don't give 2 shyts about players. I was at how he was going in on the owners. I swore he'd be slowly phased out of ESPN. That shyt wasn't fakin for the camera, it was real as fukk. I gained lots of respect for him that day.
