I don't like to rollerskate in DC, it's mainly because I hate to drive. I went to the rink in Lanham and I want to try Laurel soon, but otherwise I try to stay to the Baltimore area. There is a rink out Westminster, but that's a bop as well.

I’m from Atlanta. Lives in DC for a decade. There is nothing like The A. Without a doubt, the most unique city for black people in the country. You can find any type of black person in this city. Educated, bougie, ratchet, scammers, urban, suburban, country, LGBTQ, street, artsy fartsy types, entertainers etc. very diverse group of black people.

Damn near all them joints converged at that Waffle House by Centennial Park when Dragoncon was going on.

I lived in NW DC (Columbia Heights) for 8 years and agree completely.. however there are some things i miss about DC.. like being able to walk everywhere and the clubs being close together.
