For real, for real, most all of the educated black people I know living here are good though.
I've got black friends at Coke, Boston Consulting Group, BlackRock, doctors, lawyers, car dealerships(if you're mental capacity is enough you can clean up
), entrepreneurs, and other things. 
I don't really travel in the HBCU/frat circles so my network is much smaller than most. If you can do that, it helps tremendously.

about the sheer number of folks that leave their lower COL town with less competition (including the low skill , low wage jobs) to go to a larger city to do he same type of regular ol low skill, low wage work they coulda found at home ... and still can’t even REALLY enjoy the amenities of the larger city , which was usually a huge reason for the move to begin with .
