He was exactly what that place needed. Them nikkas in there just loitering, selling drugs, stinking, etc..... somebody has to clean that place out.

You guys realize that the only people that win from this situation is rachet azz heaux and grimy drug dealers right? This sends a message that it's okay to be ratchet / sell dope / loiter / be a low life member of society. You know why? Cause the dude that stood against that got fired... for doing his damn job. It's a double edged sword. It also tells people that standing up and doing the right thing isn't going to get you anywhere but fired.

As far as i know you have to pay police officers to monitor private property. A security guard is much cheaper than a cop.
So the people in charge don't care.

In his interview with Tommysotomayor he said the city couldn't afford or didn't want to put police in that area to keep all the nonsense to a minimum. He said they were more concerned about another part of downtown Atlanta which he felt didn't have as much potential for business as the area he was in. Some Atlanta posters may be able to give some insight on that.
He should have been fired. Dude was just running around causing problems and attracting more problems. It was bad for business and bad for the safety of the customers. I can understand wanting to clean up bad behavior, but you don't do that by running around like a bafoon yourself.

Exactly, if people really want to clean that area up then they need to put pressure on the Atlanta PD to have more of a presence in that area. But to be real, those asians who are the vendors there cater to low life street nikkas with the shyt they sell so they shouldn't be surprised of the clientele they attract. I bet if their were book stores and computers stores in there the hood nikkas wouldn't be in there all the time.
