I never understood how some of us celebrate white mediocrity when it comes to them trying to be black or do black things. But that doesn't take away from his teaching style which kids in his school are doing well.

There are no rules for what you can or cannot defend. I hate it when people criticize teachers. I'm going to say something if I want to. Me posting anything about this teacher has nothing to do with his race however you guys are only posting because of his race. So who is focused on it? I'd do the same for you too. Matter of fact, go get a B.A. in teacher education, get hired as a teacher, get involved in a school, raise test scores, and get someone to post a meme of you dancing with your students and I'll "cape" for you.
