I'd also recommend visiting Jardim Botanico, after leaving you can take a walk around Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas and visit Parque Municipal da Catacumba for a nice view of the city.

My only advice for those who bought tickets, like myself, is to be sure you have a contingency plan to return home. If you test + on your final day when you take your covid test, you need a plan. That means prob flying into Mexico or Canada then make your way to the US by land and book another flight at the nearest airport. For ex: I live in NYC, I flew to Montreal from Colombia and rented a car from Budget to drive home, 6hrs.
