They need to raise the federal minimum wage and you would not see as much of this. Raise it to at least 12 dollars
I think I mentioned this before, but there were two young dudes begging for donations to their fake football program. They were outside a chick fil a that was hiring. Some of these kids just don’t want to work a job cause they are lazy.Every fast food spot I walk into in Atlanta is hiring. Tell them to fill out an application.
@Matt504 is spitting in here![]()
They are hopeless with no direction. These type kids need forced military or trade training otherwise they going to prison. Maybe 1 out of 100 makes something of themselves. I honestly can barely understand what they even saying.Idk man, when I used to have to commute to work everyday, I would often give a few dollars to squeegee boys at the light. Back then I was working in youth workforce development and would give them my card so I could tell them about the program I was running and try to mentor them on other shyt if they were too young for that
Out of all the times I gave out that card (with my personal cell # on it) I never got not one call.

I fukk with Matt heavy when he’s not being an insufferable prick, but he’s dead wrong on this. None of us should be comfortable seeing these images of our boys. Honestly it’s heartbreaking. Where are the parents? And why aren’t these young men in actual jobs with structure? Where they can learn about punctuality or other soft skills? I started working at 15 and was volunteering even before for that. My parents saw to that and I will do the same with my daughter. This is ridiculous and we need to stop with the excuses. It’s like we just be out here winging it with our kids hoping it works out for them.
The young girls are working, you go to these retail stores or fast food spots around my way and it’s majority black girls. I def don’t see them on the streets begging or selling water.One main question that is not being asked is, what are the girls their age doing?
Are those girls working, or in school doing positive things

I agree that they COULD go out and get a job. But getting a job and holding one down is two different things. You really think these boys gonna suck it up being told when to clock in and out, when to take a break, how to dress? As soon as they get told to do something like clean up a mess in the bathroom stall they gonna walk out. I’ve seen it countless times in my years working in restaurants. Part of the appeal in selling waters in the first place is you can do what you want and set your own hours. Not to mention hanging out with your boys the whole time. shyt they prolly make the same amount of money selling water as they would at McDonaldsSorry but we make excuses for anything. It’s an understaffed mc Donald’s e dry 5 minutes from each other.
Yea them boys ain’t trying to hear that. It’s way more appealing hanging out with your boys all day working when you wanna work then having some set schedule and coming in and mopping floors and cleaning bathrooms for six hoursIdk man, when I used to have to commute to work everyday, I would often give a few dollars to squeegee boys at the light. I definitely wouldn’t call them panhandlers. At least these boys providing a servicekid panhandlers is wild to me
You’re admitting they would rather beg than put in an honest day’s work.They need to raise the federal minimum wage and you would not see as much of this. Raise it to at least 12 dollars
