ATT U Verse is a damn scam

DAwg, ATT got a contract with my community that Comcast cannot even run wires down my street or they would get sued. I called Comcast and dude told me I live in a restricted zone.


They have a bbq party every summer in my community by the pool and they give away giftcards, t shirts, movie tickets and all ppl asking is when can they leave the community. Some white dude was about to throw hands. It was crazy. These neggas had to end the party early

I know business wise, it's a good way to gain market share, but I never understood how, legally it was allowed to ever get this far under some kind of monopoly/extortion/freedom/etc laws. It still amazes me now as when I first heard it. They can't even run wires in the street, ffs.
They can't tell you what car to drive, what car insurance to get, or where to get clothes to buy, but here they can tell you who you can do business with?

shyt had nothing to do with ATT shaftin MS. It was a widespread outage because the dhcp servers (who supply ip addresses) went down for an extended period of time. Those who restarted their router during this outage caused the router to look for a new ip address, but without the dhcp server, no address was forthcoming. No ip address=no internet.

Also throttling speed would not lag online play. You could play online with a 2Mbps connection just fine. As long as the latency is low.
With regards to latency, ATT Uverse loses, because of the way the technology is made (I wont go into that here). You would rarely have ping times less than 50ms, but with Comcast, I see my friends regularly get pings of less than 20ms. The lowest ping value usually gets selected as host, which aint Uverse, so i dont know where you are getting your info from.

And i have the 18Mbps package and always get my rated speed...

You work for ATT ? Dawg, I have someone at MS that told me the same damn thing and ppl that play with me online know I lag like no other. It gets to the point where I gotta turn off my laptop to play lag-free. My MS duded told me they know MS want a MTU>1360 and they dropped it to like 570 with their update. They then talked about MS using their users as hosts. If it was as simple as you saying, it would have been resolved. They could have downgraded the server and all woukld have been dandy. Also, I see you on the PS3. So you are as clueless as your post.


Ask @Brooklynzson who gets host most of the time we play. COme here @BLAZO da GAWD and tell em how much I lag on FIFA.

I know some parts in Houston Uverse was down. But not in my hood. PS3 and Xbox was working fine online. Plus I never have problems with my speed.

Every one of you nikkas saying you don't have any lag issues with uverse are pretty much lying.. Im looking online right now and their uploads speeds are atrocious... nikkas is only offering between 1 and 1.5mbupload speeds mane... unless you get the most expensive internet package that offers 3mb upload...

If you're an online gamer of any system you should not be fukking with these nikkas

When I first signed up they had a promotion that was 29.99 for over 20mbps

THey have that deal right now but for only 6 months. I might have to go with someone else.


Uverse TV is aight. my complex doesn't allow sattelite so cable is my only route.

I just called Verizon up and trying to sign up. The leasing office said to try Verizon since U Verse may not be able to tell if they in the building.
