Malicious wounding is a 5-20 sentence so the shooter will probably get more time than the other two guys who provoked him. He would've been good had he just walked out. Hopefully his lawyer can argue that he was still in danger because the guy had his hands to his body like he was reaching for a weapon. A jury shouldn't punish someone for what he did. You're robbing or assaulting someone like that you should get no protection. Had he left and came back in and shot him again then he's wrong. This was still in the heat of the moment so damn the letter of the law.
