Well just consider how extremely touchy feely most women are with each other. Well for your first point, I just think due to men's stand offish and combative nature we aren't as prone to that spectrum of sexuality as women. I think it also comes from being birthed by women too (again I'm throwing shyt at the wind, but that's what makes science fun in the first place) most people, men and women, are prone to be attracted to breasts and softness and the general warm and feel a woman's embrace and presence can bring.


And to your point about football, that follows along with my point. Those guys have to be close to each other constantly, being overly reliant on each other and restricted towards dealing with each other constantly. Always being around each other in that kind of setting isn't the norm for most people after their adolescence so I feel like that's an instance that is more rare than it is general (like how many people even really play on a highschool team where guys start having to be in the locker room often with each other? Even less in college too). But it's all speculation! I think your point is very valid seeing as how homosexuality is damn near grounds for execution in alot of societies for centuries, but a man whose allowed to have a harem can have his women literally fukk each other for his amusement and thats cool. It's an interesting topic I think needs a bit more discussion. Could def improve relationships between men and women a lil bit more.

In the paradigm of gender, maleness is dominant, and so the general attitudes towards sexuality were created by, and are maintained by, men. I think a lot of the hypocrisy/double standards surrounding human sexuality is to placate these attitudes of the dominant gender. I think that's probably the real reason why women "get away with" being more casually sensual and sexual with one another. Where as men are not allowed to indulge in the same proclivities. At least not so freely. I think its similar to how women are allowed to express a wide range of emotions while men are not. And, yes, the example I gave, versus the one you gave, was more of a situational example versus a societal example, respectively.
