Don't know why y'all trying to clown that degree or profession, we need more black mental health professionals. :stopitslime:
You 100% right but tell me you haven't noticed the lowkey trend of college students majoring in psych, realizing to make real money they need more schooling, and then switching to nursing/business

see thats what needs to be addressed, the B.A degree is undervalued in the job market pushing those degree holders into other industries. If they were to earn a livable wage with their degree while pursuing a masters or phd, chances are they would without having to make drastic career changes.

Agreed and its like you said, we need more black men and women in the field of psychology. If nothing else it could really help with the stigma of mental health that plagues the community
