Well then if he has insurance and the insurance settled the claims then financially it’s less of a loss for him right? :jbhmm:

She used the car insurance claim as an example, but when you get in a car accident your insurance deductible/premium goes up but you don’t have to pay out of pocket, that’s on your insurance. :manny:

Insurance is definitely on the hook but at some point if these allegations start stacking up, they will probably drop him due to him being too much of a liability. I'm assuming the same would happen if you get into a car accident every day. The insurance company is gonna eventually want to drop you (im assuming).

I know insurance companies can’t “drop” you but they can choose not to renew.

And if you’re constantly wrecking your car they might be able to deny a rental etc.

But I feel you.

My thoughts were that this is why you get insurance (not specifically abuse/sex stuff) to cover your liabilities. Her going after his business might’ve been smarter for her settlement wise and easier for him financially.

Yeah from what I understand in my past dealings with them, most celebrities have insurance that covers stuff like this. Puff himself likely didn't have to pay a dime. I've heard about this happening before.

Thecoli told me Puffy was the one that settled because he was obviously guilty…… The lady in the OP doesn’t know what she is talking about.

Most folks on here are dumb when it comes to business. Civil trials don't prove guilt or innocence. just liability and can hurt your public image. And like the lady said since cassie could have been considered an employee the businesses knew they were liable and could settle the suit and they did.

Where I disagree with her is that Diddy is done and wont run be able to run companies anymore. There are folks running companies accused of far worse and who actually were charged with crimes. Plus he owns revolt and other companies and investments so his money isnt going anywere. Diddy will be fine long term. Short term he takes a hit, falls back for a year and there is no way around it. Folks are piling on at this point but he will be out the news cycle in a few weeks cause the only people left talking will be his disgruntled ex body guards and 50 cent (and folks are already tired of his post). But he will rebrand and come back.

Kansas City, MO.
that was a good simple breakdown.
suing as an employee is completely different than suing as just a girlfriend. Diddy had no say so in whether or not to fight the suit. The company protected itself.

On some level it does change the idea that "well some of this shyt has to be true because Diddy settled so fast".

edit: and i don't know what's true or what's not true. :hubie:
