His businesses are the insurance company in the allegory.

State Farm = Bad Boy/Revolt/etc

I don’t think that’s true.

His companies are covered by a larger liability insurance company.

Bad Boy/Revolt have commercial liability insurance (if someone slips and falls etc)

Bad boy is the defendant/not the one who carries the insurance policy. By then going after the companies, the insurers decide to settle.

:dead:WE STILL GOT nikkaS
PRETENDING DIDDY DIDNT DO IT?

HIS EX HEAD OF SECURITY ALREADY CONFIRMED IT.

That clown admitted he was looking for money and just mad diddy didnt pay his sons legal expenses. Nothing he says has any credibility and if it did he would be considered an accomplice cause he proudly said he was covering things up.

Thecoli told me Puffy was the one that settled because he was obviously guilty…… The lady in the OP doesn’t know what she is talking about.
He did settle because he’s guilty. He’s the first person named on the suit so he’s still personally liable, in addition to the companies he’s tied to financially.

If he wasn’t guilty, why would he pay to have that kind of jacket on his name? Surely he had the money to keep Cassie in court for years if none of it was true, right?

Puffy is finished. He was already going broke which is something I mentioned last year. This was the nail in the coffin.

That’s why black celebrities who called themselves business moguls were lying. They are puppets and mascots for the most part for bigger brands. All of his businesses relied on him being out front.

Yeah Diddy didnt own anything... Sean John, Ciroc, Bad Boy etc. sounds like he was just a well paid spokesperson.

Hov seems like the only true boss in hip hop.

Fam, Hov was beefing about the ownership of Ace of Spades the other day and accounting

All these guys get is minority stakes to be elevated spokespeople. It’s not what we think it is.

Thats not how this works.

YOu’re guilty when you’re found guilty.

A lot of times companies settle just to avoid court and make shyt go away. You can be annoyed by things too.

It's my understanding that Diddy had absolutely no say in settling. The settlement was forced by his insurance carriers. Also, him stepping down from Revolt was also a result of the insurance companies stating they wouldn't cover Revolt if he continued to stay on board.

Expect other companies he's affiliated with to follow suit.

Idk why this is news.... did people notread the complaint .....(dumb question 🤦🏽‍♀️)

The only thing that gets tricky is insurance is not going to cover criminal acts. So insurance could have denied coverage pretty easily, a lot of the counts were based on criminal activity

I've heard this about Magic Johnson, that he's just a front man for a bunch of joos. 🤷🏽

Where I shouldn't be
Most folks on here are dumb when it comes to business. Civil trials don't prove guilt or innocence. just liability and can hurt your public image. And like the lady said since cassie could have been considered an employee the businesses knew they were liable and could settle the suit and they did.

Where I disagree with her is that Diddy is done and wont run be able to run companies anymore. There are folks running companies accused of far worse and who actually were charged with crimes. Plus he owns revolt and other companies and investments so his money isnt going anywere. Diddy will be fine long term. Short term he takes a hit, falls back for a year and there is no way around it. Folks are piling on at this point but he will be out the news cycle in a few weeks cause the only people left talking will be his disgruntled ex body guards and 50 cent (and folks are already tired of his post). But he will rebrand and come back.
My bro was saying the same yesterday, Diddy's career has survived multiple DEATHS in the past. He'll probably fall away, play the Family role then comeback.
He's ego won't let Cassie (or all these other accusers) end his legacy.
