@88m3 What are you going to do when ya favorite car manufactures stop offering manuals? Porsche is heavily leaning that one, and Ferrari, and Lambo have sworn em off for ever it seems. What you gonna do when it trickles down to BMW, and Audi? Sticks are dyin b...you gotta evolve.

If it happens, it happens. I think it will, unless the US market demands it which is usually how we keep getting manual transmissions. I saw a black optics package convertible go by today. I smiled but inside I was frowning knowing it wasn't stick. 991 Carrera S comes in stick still, I like the 997 Turbo and GT3, the current gen M5 comes in stick(another car I would own), along with the M3/M4. There are options for now so I can be content. I'm also willing to buy older models I missed due to my age from the past. We're also fast coming up on the end of important ban dates on several cars I would be interested in importing which is exciting for me. Audi RS2 and B5 RS4 to name two off the top of my head. If I were forced to buy a new car I would buy an RS4 or RS5 in stick albeit grudgingly.

Damn breh I feel for you, but I do know where you are coming from. The connection between you and the car can't be matched. The efficiency and performance keeps the flappy paddles ahead. I think if they made a manual with a traffic mode where it just kept the car in second and you didn't have to keep shifting.

Yeah, exactly I love the connection and control. Inclement weather, snow, heavy rain, mountain roads in any condition the feeling can't be beat. I honestly don't even mind the traffic. I live in NYC and I'm barely ever in traffic enough to bother me. I think the only time driving a stick in traffic that bothers me is if I'm on a highway and waiting for hours stop and go. The clutches in a lot of my cars are heavy duty as well. Granted if I we're older and had arthritis or something it would probably be another story.
