I love audiobooks, but I'm a physical book person. I have an audible account with over 20 credits(that I have to always use credits or I will use them), but I buy my favorite books. I will read the book at home and when I'm at the gym, listen to a few chapters working out or in the sauna on audiobook. The good thing about audiobooks is that I can cook, fold clothes, or relax and listen to them. The bad thing about them is that when I want to go to a page real quick to read something for a reference or cite it in a paper, I can't do that on an audio book.

what app do you recommend for audiobooks? with 2 kids now i don't have much time to read so audiobooks might be a good alternative when i'm driving to/from work or doing yard work.

I suggest retrying "The Blade Itself" with the audiobook. Steven Pacey seems to have been born to voice the series because he brings a lot of life to the characters. It almost feels like an audio drama with all the voices and accents he juggles. Don't give up, breh. You have to be realistic...

I hate audio books :francis:

I might give it a shot though when I’m feeling too lazy to read. I think it’s included in my Spotify premium tho

I used to be the same way but now it depends on the narrator for me. Steven Pacey and Jeff Hays (Dungeon Crawler Carl narrator) IMO are the best.

Graphic audio for Red Rising series is also epic.
