LAS VEGAS - Forget valet parking. The car of the future can find a spot for you and then pick you up.

And the future has driven to CES 2013. Audi's Connect car not only drives and parks itself but the iPhone is its key.

"Imagine you are at a shopping center and you want the car to pick you up. That's exactly what it will do," Annie Lien, Audi Senior Engineer, told ABC News.

they could bring it to market...they would refine the safety or build anti-collision and companies would build up their legal reserve

auto companies already do so with human piloted cars...

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
they could bring it to market...

Not in the US, this isn't like a self parking car where you're still in it and have some measure of control. This muthafukka is out and driving itself, yeah, that won't be met with massive lawsuits and all sorts of insurance scams. Imagine one of these cars running someone over in a parking lot on the way to get you, the insurance on these cars would be ridiculous and the companies making them would be liable in some cases.

the technology in the car is too superb...

car stops on moving items

how do humans get into accidents? a car eliminates that ok.

:mindblown:

So, cars aren't recalled all the time because of poor engineering and defectives parts?

And lazy dumb people will be in charge of the maintenance of a car that drives itself, people don't even change oil when they're supposed to.
