I don't really recognize the WWE's version of the world title as special. there's a reason He nor Booker T ever won the WWE Title. The World title is secondary.

I was there too... ... same arena he won it. A gotdamn shoulderbreaker. It was shocking as hell- nobody saw the three count coming.

Simmons winning the belt was epic but everything after that was mediocre at best. For one they had him basically in midcard feuds after he won the belt- Barbarian and Dr. Death weren't exactly the top heels in the company. Also, Sting was headlining over him the whole time. And after he lost the belt he wasn't even midcarding, dude went all the way to the bottom of the card. I don't know if he pissed Watts off or what, but he went back to being a second-match wrestler (not even midcard) after he lost the belt. It was like he never had it to begin with.

He was kinda a placeholder while Vader was injured, sad to say. I think he coulda been much more relevant if they treated his run like it mattered.

He had a lot of power, and mean charisma. They really coulda developed him as a heel champ, at Least. I was disgusted. The way they mentioned it too. *o uh yea, um ron lost the title to vader* (they show the shoulder breaker and him losing the title) n never mentioned it again. The way they gave him the belt with all the wrestlers in the back coming out biggin him up made it seem like he was gonna have it for a while. NO respect.
