Why would we, the listener/consumer, ever give a fukk about things like this? Not our concern.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
When you include the VIDEO version of Gold Slugs on there... you easily have the R&B album of the year (sadly, Chris disappointed a vigga... But i'm feeling like its the end of summer... cuz its all aboot August).

Track of the year for me.

Tell me the Been Around The World Remix interpolation wasn't more flames than mikes hair do during the pepsi commercial?

Byah!!!

All those babies back then are the young generation now. A kid born in 2000 is 15 today. So all the krazy shyt I did 10 years ago(and the music was controlled then too) those kids were 5.
Thug motivation, carter 2, dedication 2 all dropped 10 years ago. We were seeing it then, but I think now we are seeing the successes.

ALL The MAJOR record labels(and most of the "indy" ones too since they have "partnerships" with them all) are owned by the same conglomerates that own the movie studios, tv channels, cable providers, news corporations etc.
Comcast merged with UNIVERSAL.
They control the narrative and burn you if you go against it, or suppress you if you dont spew the same narrative.

Everybody does NOT sell drugs or catch bodies. Normal people still live in the hood.
But over the past 20 years weve seen a sharp incline of violent crimes, drug dealers and drug related arrests,(and now everybody is encouraged to do drugs that they may get arrested for or worse with) gang activity in all major cities and suburbs of those.
This is across the board.
At the same time there has been a sharp incline of drug and violent ridden rap content. Pushed to the forefront. And kids think this shyt is real.
I used to think stone cold was really out here slamming beers and hutting nikkas with the stunner just cause.

I grew up.
nikkas tear up their own community, and if not dont keep it up and looking nice and crime free. Personally I know its because nikkas feel like they dont own shyt so they dgaf. But when all the nikkas are OLD, DEAD, or IN PRISON, or TOO POOR to do anything about it then the white people buy everything out. And raise the property taxes so youcant afford to live in your own home anymore.
The hipsters come first. Tge investors come second.

Cold blooded :wow:

Brehs selling their own people short.

it's the ADELE effect...

mark my words by this time next year, there will be an entirely new roster of talent/artist in their urban divisions

I can see them pushing out 95% of the black artists out. They ain't slick :mjpls:
