Dray is like a Dennis Rodman-type player.

A glue guy that you need for a championship team. The kind of breh that can score 5 points yet have a significant impact on the game.

Having said that, he talks like he is/was THAT nikka. On a different team, he would put up more empty calories but it's not like he's a 25/10 guy...if he was, they would have showcased it.

Saw that clip of him with Chuck

I love how Chuck didn’t bother arguing with him

Just let him hang himself with his words. Dude is unlikable, has a noticeable inferiority complex, and is petty beyond words.

Hes aging out of the league the way it was always meant to be. Disgracefully.

Good riddance.

Chess move by Bron. Take the heart out of golden state, turn him into a cancer, and make them implode from inside. Just think of all the shyt Draymond did.

I fear this might be true

In that 2023 matchup vs the Lakers Dray was playing buddy ball. Scared to touch LeBron and AD. Smiling and yucking it up. While LeBron just teared through their defense. Dray never laid a hand on him once

And a Dray without his edge is just a guy…a guy who doesn’t need to be on the court playing 30 min

This is exactly it. He was definitely important and deserves credit for anchoring the defense but it's nuts for people to try and claim he was the key to the Warriors titles. Dray was unlocked on offense due to the threat of Steph and Klay. And while Dray was a beast on defense the Warriors outside of Steph and Barbosa early on were filled with good to great defenders around Draymond.

i get what you're saying, but that rodman comp never worked because rodman was a monster before he linked up with the bulls

Blame ring culture. Role players on championship teams feel they have the green light to talk shyt. Draymond isn’t the only one.

When you have obscure role players on championship teams like Ron Harper talking shyt about Lebron James, that’s all you need to know.
