Just finished Ross' latest one with Wade Keller. Really enjoy listening to those two talk wrasslin'. They've done a couple together now I think, hopefully they do them reguarly after the PPVs. Talking of PPVs, found it interesting that they mentioned that the concept of a PPV is changing now that they're included in the Network subscription and that we should expect more of a 'Raw-lite' feel to them now; I must admit it makes sense that they do. I guess the only time we're gonna see a real-payoff is WrestleMania.
Loved how they both have high hopes for the NJPW/GFW show in January. I really think if they do it right, then they will give WWE some real competition - guys like myself that dip in and out of WWE from time-to-time and want a more mature product should be well-catered for and I'm looking forward to seing how it affects the WWE. On the whole wrestling seems to be steadily growing at the moment which is a good sign.
Love J.Rs podcast though; if you don't listen to it give it a go, he doesn't hold back much now he has nothing to do with WWE and he's not bitter at all - he praises the things that are good and knocks the bad stuff but isn't safe with it like Austin/Jericho etc.
I would love if they cut down on the number of PPVs at this point but I know they won't. They need them now to tout how you get a free one per month on the network. But it just feels so many stories are forced due to having to sell the monthly PPVs.
