I don't remember Australia damn near being in Asia
I was young in school when we learned all this so maybe I was remembering Antarctica since it also starts with an A.
I was only a kid so who knows but all of this is interesting especially when The Simpsons and other examples to back up our memories are still out there to watch. The Simpsons made dozens of mistakes or they were using their own memory to make the episodes without looking it up. They took time to post the math of the god particle correctly so it doesn't make sense they would half ass their other research.

The Australia in maps in this reality is way too north. It should not be north of New Zealand. And it should not be right next to Papau New Guinea.

You from a different reality then. In the reality I remember Australia was the southernmost piece of land on earth other than Antarctica. Its why it was called the land down under. It was also south of New Zealand. It was surrounded by thousands of miles of ocean and had an ecosystem unique to the rest of the planet because of this isolation.

Its why weird animals like Platypus were only found in Australia. Now with Australia being right below Papua New Guinea none of that shyt makes any sense.

Its not that continents are moving.

Reality is basically being edited.
