Lol...King cross is a bunch of nightclubs that Bikies such as the Comeros gang and various Lebo gangs meet up to fukk prostitutes and throw money at strippers. Theres nothing wild about that, its just seedy. Ive been there, its been demonised by the media, its not even a dangerous place. Sydney is alot better than melbourne when it comes to social atmosphere since its an internatiinal city but nothing can compare to the top 10 American or European cities. Melbourne culture is just stale and a replica of other mid tier cities.

In comparison to Auckland Sydney is a big city. What Australia lacks to me is a strong indigenous culture. In New Zealand indigenous influences are everywhere even some of the news outlets is even in maori language. Plus we have tons on Pacific islanders that live there as well.

The government made sure that hoods dont develop by dispersing housing estates in every housing code in Australia, irrespective of socioeconomic situation or house prices. My uncle lives in government housing and he lives in one of the richest suburbs in melbourne. So we dont have hoods here, but we do have poorer working class suburbs thats been hit hard by the collapse of the manufacturing industry in Australia.

What i said in comparison to "New Zealand" from my perspective being in Australia briefly Australia lacks a strong indigenous culture like New Zealand. Due to the large Maori and other island population we have in New Zealand, and some of the news outlets have the news in the Maori language
