A lot of it is getting wires crossed on Nonverbal cues, body language, gestures, shyt like that. Sometimes it could be not getting the context of the situation, others it’s just a little bit of work to be done with communication and reading the room.
My advice is be patient (sometimes a little more time is needed to process things), be direct when you can, and remembering that positive reinforcement when she does get it can go a long way to helping build confidence and eventually understanding.
