they didn't have birth control, shotgun weddings were extremely common.
So the US Labor is lying is what your' implying correct? All the studies done wages being stagnant are lying? I just want to get you on record here, I'll address it laterI guess I'll have to break it down for you. Its like you ignored my post and decided to post this useless graph

Millenials and Gen Z chose a useless Masters Degree in Woman studies over a Skilled Trade, and this is the end result. Wages haven't stagnated. Their job skills have eroded![]()
Does voting democrat make you special or something? Also Liberals are fukking trash so if you're one that also explains quite a bit.
You're making lazy arguments that don't really make sense or have any bearing to the situation that is currently going on in the US. Like comparing two things that aren't similar like a large first world country and third world country literally is a waste of time.
There have been plenty of studies done showing that Millennials are poorer than generations before them, plenty of studies done showing that wages we're killed by Reagan and company after Unions were taken out back and shot. Claiming that inflation alone caused the cost of living to accelerate past wages shows a complete lack of education on the subject. Saying wild stuff like "Well back in the early 1900's no one had a social safety net" yeah those people lived like shyt for the most part. Why would anyone want to live like that? You also left out the part about America being in an awful depression pre WW2 so I'd think that's a good argument for why you should have kids.
With all of that said why should Millennials be reproducing in the first place? What benefit do they get from killing their quality of life to raise a child that they can't afford and also not being able to give that child the quality of life they deserve? There's an argument to be made that the moral thing to do in today's world is not reproduce. My final question is why the fukk would anyone want to bring a child into the world as it currently is right now?
This is my point. You wanted to bark on me and my min point is all over the west birth rates have been declining for years and nothing has reversed this. Also this is the important part of what I mean about comparing some third world country to the US. Birth Rates are down in most developed countries
'Remarkable' decline in fertility rates
This is an article from two years ago
Most people can't afford Jordans and shyt but they find a way to get what they want.
Moreover there are some very ignorant takes in this thread on both sides of the spectrum, y'all really gotta read more![]()
anyone who thought a baby boom was gonna happen in the lockdown was dumb asf. i guess they missed the part of widespread unemployment lol.
As a 22 year old this is a half truth. Fact is our K-12 school is exponentially tougher than it was for literally the generation before us (let's not talk about boomers). To learn all that shyt in K-12 just to do a trade feels like a waste to most, but the fact is most can't be doctors, engineers, accountants, etc. and all those jobs worth going to college for.
In all honestly most fields don't need college, a 2 year school focused on the industry culminating in examination for certification would suffice (hell you can be a fukking cop in less than a year), but American capitalism is predicated on debt, hence telling people that have no shot of finishing school, or finishing and getting a decent job, or finishing getting a decent job that would allow them to get out of debt they NEED to go to conventional 4 year institution.

Honestly I don't seriously engage in intellectual discourse with those who can't keep up (factually) or those who can't agree to disagree (on subjective issues, or when they refuse to use facts). This is a message board. Post your thoughts prove or disprove the goofy shyt that you think is being said.
automation isn't a big deal. Get your skills up and you'll be in demand more than before.
I mean you can try it. I'm not one of these emotional brehs that have some agenda that I have to push.Honestly I don't seriously engage in intellectual discourse with those who can't keep up (factually) or those who can't agree to disagree (on subjective issues, or when they refuse to use facts).
I'm more of an observer anyway![]()
Children are the most expensive time consuming thing in the world, but the poorest among us tend to have the most children.are they buying jordans every week?
are they buying 10's of thousands of dollars of designer gear every year?
children aren't a one-time cost.
True. Millennials and Gen Zs are allergic to hard work
They think Trade is "beneath them"
