Season so GOAT, I wrote a poem about it:

I am such a winter baby, but there’s something about fall that just sends me into a different place in my mind. The cool breeze that seems like harmony from mother nature, the relaxing nights on the town, and the day becomes a misty but elegant affair.

This seems like a perfect time to just reflex, grab a pumpkin spice whatever, and just take in everything for what it is worth. Seasons of your favorite shows coming on in a heart beat, football is becoming the rave, and my beloved baseball is coming to a complete series finale, yet none of that matters. What matters the most is picking out my favorite hoodie. A nice gray and dark black type of color with a unique material.

Let me stop with the theatrics, it’s just an Old Navy zipped up hoodie. Nothing special, but it sure beats the sweat from such a horrible summer temperature.

Summer is not my favorite season by any means.

It is scorching like the earth having an attitude, the attitudes from various forms of humankind resembles the temperature that constantly rising, and bad luck comes in the forms of details provided by harmful JuJu.

Each summer, I am either on the ropes, my family struggles to pick me up, and nothing good comes out of the fiery pits, but a falcon rising from the ashes towards the fall. The music goes from a hot girl summer, to a chill lady session, as all of my favorite jazzy tunes combine with the atmosphere of prosperity. The crime goes from a record high, to a session low as the mood changes to go with the cool. If I could, I would marry the season of autumn. I would be a happy man and provide the holding up from threshold appeal to the woman that entices my whole remedy of me being true to the scenery.

Fall is like the reflection before the big decision. The intermission before the movie starts. It’s to envision that you need to slow down, or you will miss the point. Each moment of fall, I found a place of refuge, a new calling on my life, financial stability, and prosperity that maybe I have a reason to live.

Sure, time changes with the dark covering the sun, the cold air can be overkill in the wrong areas of the world, and Halloween is not my favorite part of the season, but there is a reason why this season is here….to fall back and take your time.

Don’t rush it, just embrace what is about to come.
