I mean they didn’t tell lies, it is wrong to assume that every Asian has it... And all those groups have been stereotyped negatively as soon as shyt popped off—9/11 Muslims, illegal immigration fight Latinos and now this. But there’s a key at the end of that tweet... black people have always been treated unfairly. Unlike these other groups a situation didn’t pop off and suddenly decent treatment went out the window—from the getgo, the moment we were brought here involuntarily, we were treated like shyt.
And out of all those groups we’re still treated worse. And by those very groups that we then support. They never stand with us until it’s others against them. Why do we always have to speak out for others as if we’re in a position to offer any protections to any of those groups. It’s done nothing for us smh.
My sisters were doing the same thing. They are just like Ava—super liberal and on that moral pedestal where wrong is wrong, which I get, but why the fukk do we have to go out of our way to cape as if whites gaf how we feel? We’re in the midst of a pandemic, last thing on most Americans minds is that it’s wrong to feel some type of way toward the country that this shyt originated from.
