Humanity continues to disappoint me

I didn't see it, and I probably won't ever watch it. I'm not a hater, but I just thought the first Avatar was a one & done film for me and I never had any interest in a sequel. It still made a lot of money and I'm happy for its success and for its fans, despite the fact, before last year, I hadn't heard anyone mention Avatar in close to a decade. The quiet majority came through. Was anybody really betting against James Cameron though?
