Also, once again, I don't think anyone in this thread is against an X-Men vs. Avengers battle. It's more so that it's the Fox X-Men, and those actors are 50 and up. Seeing a 90 year old Magneto isn't that exciting lol

Yes, I know that, and that's a big reason why Feige is doing this. They get to cash in on nostalgia from moviegoers like yourself and make a billion dollars easily.

There's really no reason to give a "send off" to the Fox X-Men other than for nostalgia purposes (AND that Feige worked on them).

Doomsday/Secret Wars could've been the chance to introduce the MCU X-Men instead... but I digress

hate this word, but we're being "gaslit" into thinking we care about most of these characters. we don't even need Patrick Stewart anymore, they gave him a great sendoff in Logan, then ran over his corpse in shytty Multiverse of Madness. We just got a whole movie of Wolverine, but everyone likes Hugh, so basically only him and maybe Ian McKellan are worth giving a fukk about. fukk Kelsey Grammer Beast, don't care about Alan Cumming Nightcrawler b/c he had one of the 5 good scenes in the X franchise, none of the women from the original XMen were even good...

and what's their plan with Gambit? dude was literally a joke character. are they just gonna have him play it straight now? imagiine that bumbling idiot stepping into a critical scene in Doomsday? i imagine the tone is gonna be a lot different from Deadpool, which is probably why his played out ass hasn't been announced.

1. The casual viewer (Gen X and Millennials) has currently lost interest in Marvel outside of nostalgia bait.
2. The casual viewer does not care about the new characters post endgame.
3. The new movies are flopping/underperforming.
4. Gen Z do NOT CARE about the mcu.
5. The last X-MEN movie to bring back the original cast was a box office hit and highest grossing X-Men movie until Deadpool.
6. Kevin Feige HATED what Singer did with the X-MEN and now has his opportunity in his mind to make a better version with the original actors.

Folks gonna complain no matter what but the concept of the X-Men taking on the Avengers is the type of stuff kid me would’ve dreamed seeing on the big screen.
