That's true. So it seems like they're going the age of Ultron route with this then. There was no build up to Ultron he just appeared, or was set up, in his first movie and proceeded to wreck shyt. I'm guessing they're doing the same with doom then. I don't know, it could work I guess. But it's a bold move

To be fair they did planted the seeds for Tony to create Ultron. In Avengers 1 when Tony went into that wormhole and came out paranoid af. And in IM3 when Tony was suffering from ptsd and started to further weaponizing JARVIS(Iron Legion).

They are really about to DC this shyt. IW took a decade to build, with TV and other mediums too... Hell, they JUST got Spidey, 1 movie or 2 before or that entire arc wouldn't even have been a thing......

Now they want to run it back with characters nobody still cares about, with a new villian nobody built up, and make us care about either of them like IW??? Good fukking luck with that

They better lean into going a totally other way cause they will need more than RDJ to pull this off

I mean once they got hugh in that iconic costume, it's only fitting to do it with the whole gang too I will say this tho, when they announced that marvel got the rights back to the X-Men, one of the things I was looking forward to was the costumes. I thought that was going to be so cool to see the mcus take on the X-Men with their iconic outfits and it would've separated themselves from the fox films. But that was years ago. Now that marvel is doing this with the old cast, Ima be honest with you... There really isn't anything to look forward to when they do cast the new X-Men. Now I could be totally wrong, and I most likely am. But they really need to knock it out the park with these casting. Because another thing is I think a lot of us assumed that it was going to be a years long gap between the last X-Men film to the new mcu X-Men so everyone can come into it with a fresh mind. But now it's like after doomsday and secret wars, we're jumping right into the mutant saga.

Like, at this point you might as well keep the og cast going forward. I remember years ago back when they first acquired fox people were giving their casting choices on who should be the new wolverine but after Deadpool and wolverine, I don't think people would mind seeing hugh still play this character. But on the flip side people seem to really want a new storm. Preferably darkskin so I don't know.
