he was not in charge of strategy.

the second in command to chapek was ... a man who i will not name here.

it is on public record.

the low standards, with content and $$$ ahead of creative quality affected other franchises like star wars too (boba fett, obi wan).

start here: "Disney CEO Bob Iger is focused on repairing the company's creative engine, says Puck's Matt Belloni"

Breh, stop trying to argue with people that are dead set on not fukking with a movie that's not even close to being out yet.

And besides, the most concise explanation is that the storyline they're adapting calls for a secondary established universe, and it seems the movies are filling that role since there's no 616/Ultimate divide in the movies like there was in the comics.

Basically people are saying that Marvel is not bringing them back because they are going to be the X-Men going forward. They are bringing them back so they can close their chapter themselves...

Everybody knows this.

The other poster stated they were being erased as in they are only in this flick to be killed off for the new MCU X-Men. Which makes no sense because

1. The Fox-Men were never part of the MCU in the first place.
2. They didn’t need to be in this flick to tell the story.
3. You do not need the fox men to introduce a younger cast MCU X-Men the same way we didn’t need the 2005 and 2015 Fantastic Four cast to introduce the MCU’s Fantastic Four in 2025.
4. The Fox-Men here are not even the original fox versions. They are alternate versions (now just comic accurate). This is not a continuation the way No Way Home was a sequel to every Spider-Man flick prior.
