Mark Ruffalo has one more movie left on his deal and the character’s rights are owned by Universal. There is no point in developing the character further or continuing to make him a key piece of the team because of that. They can never branch off and make a solo movie for him like everyone else.

So they relegated him to a side character that developed off screen and is now basically useless against cosmic threats because of he lost an arm. They tried to limit his impact in the last two movies as much as possible. But they didn’t completely kill him off because Ruffalo still has a movie left on his deal and there might be an off chance Disney gets the rights to the character in the future.

She Hulk coming to Disney +, it may be a loophole concerning TV shows as opposed to movies as far as what they can do without Universals co-sign. If they signed off on a show for her, Hulk would be an awesome option to flesh out in a series as much as anybody.

Due to the rights issues Hulk can't get solo films anymore. She Hulk is getting a series on the Disney service so she won't appear until then. The Russos say Hulks arm is permanently damaged Unless he appears in someone else's movie it's a wrap for Hulk unless a future director can retcon that bullshyt

The Russos actually gave a different answer to what happened. It was something about Hulk being tired of being used to solve all of Banner’s problems.

Now where the explanation for that motivation came from, what it had to do with anything related to the Hulk in the other movies, and why it all of a sudden became a problem then and there are never explained. And it’s also never explained how Banner merging with Hulk solves the problem.

But that’s always been the problem with these movies: they set stuff up, but they never really follow through.

Then explain it in interviews and shyt Like nikka all that shyt y'all sayin nikkas is supposed to figure it out on they own by watching the fukkin shyt

I know Marvel doesn't own the solo movie rights but they didn't have to turn him into a scrub
