How many push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups you suggest a day?

Yeah the routine thing is hard but I gotta get into before it's too late. I'm not really :flabbynsick: just yet but I'm not tryna be either
If I was really training you, I'd try to figure out what you can do and what you can't do.

You got to give me some numbers and how you feel first

A few weeks ago I was doing 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups, taking short breaks after 20 - 30. I never attempted any pull-ups but I don't see myself doing any more than 5 at once :flabbynsick:.

you gotta work your core muscles out mayne :sadcam:

people overlook that, but if you really want to be athletic you need good core strength.

Got to start somewhere. Just work in increasing it gradually. I say do about a month if what you're used to doing, then slowly increasing it about a rep or 2 per month. But that's just being safe about it. If you don't got weights... And they're aren't necessarily needed, then worry about reps

Thanks I'll give this a go. Nah I ain't got no weights. So by reps do you mean going from 100 to 200? Should I be doing this everyday?

I mean, if you're already doing 100+ in push-ups in sit-ups, consider doing it that and increasing by atleast 25 per month. Pull-ups are a different story, because they are a different beast to most ppl.

I grew up doing that shyt, so push-ups/pull-ups ain't shyt to me. But I'm not everybody. It's better, safer, and more efficient to gradually increase. I made this thread with the assumption of doing it everyday and maybe taking weekends off, but in reality, doing it every other day would be better for beginners. And splitting it up between push-ups, pull-ups, dips, and something likd lunges might be a better strategy

Me personally, I'm trying to do at least 300 push-ups a day no matter what body part I workout at the gym. But that's me. Never try to compete with the next man, that leads to injuries. Work your way up to a goal, it's more satisfying once you accomplish it
